Phone: 679.880390

The Bouma National Park is around 15,000 hectares of verdant rainforest, birdlife, archaeological sites, rushing waterfalls and hiking trails through the forest and by the sea. Located less than an hour by car from the Matei Airport, a hike to one of the three waterfalls in the park involves a short swim, so be prepared. Beaches within the park's boundaries offer snorkeling and spectacular views.

Owned and cared for by the villages of Vanua Bouma Waitabu, Vidawa, Korovou and Lavena and by the Fiji and New Zealand Governments, the park's amenities include the Lavena Visitor Centre, the Bouma Visitor Centre, food and refreshment, picnic areas, toilets and swimming holes.

Entry fee is FJ $5.00 per person without a guide and FJ $15.00 with a guide. For a full-day adventure which includes food and pick-up at your hotel, the price is FJ$60 for adults and FJ$40 for children aged 12 - 17 years. For more information or to book a guide call the Bouma Visitor Centre at 679 880 390.
