Sweden is located in the eastern part of the Scandinavian peninsula in Europe. Countries bordering Sweden include Norway in the west and Finland in the northeast.

Tourists are attracted to the country's beautiful countryside and to the country's capital city Stockholm where churches and palaces built in the 17th century still stand. The weather is seasonal and never extremely warm. Prices for food and lodging are slightly above average but not as expensive as some European countries.
