Zurich and Geneva can be reached from various gateways from the US and Canada and other continents. Scheduled services to Switzerland from North America are operated by Swissair, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, TWA and Air Canada.

Taxis are very expensive. So is a cup of coffee or fries, however, getting around on a Swiss Flexi Pass is quite reasonable.

Currency is the Swiss Francs. Money exchange booths are located at railway stations, airports, major hotels and any Swiss Bank. At the time of this publishing Swiss banks were not equipped with ATM machines that accepted American or Canadian debit cards, however, many banks with ATM machines allowed cash advances on your major credit card.
