St. Maarten, Caribbean: August 30, 2004: The action gets hot with a serious Latin beat
as more than 20 international performers and world-class DJs descend on St. Maarten. Latin
dance fans warm up for the first annual St. Maarten Salsa Escape from November 10-14, 2004.
Salsa Dance Rates
This dance party holiday at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino is available for only
US$750 per person all-inclusive (airfare extra).
St. Maarten Salsa Escape includes:
* Pool parties - daily from 12:00-5:00 p.m. with featured world-class DJ's.
* Dance workshops on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

* Performances by Spanish Harlem Orchestra - won "Best New Artist" 2003 Billboard
Latin Awards and nominated for a Grammy in 2002 for best "Salsa Album of the Year" and

* Music variety - Salsa & Hustle with a splash of Raggaeton, Merengue and Zouk.
Among the international performers and instructors (from Argentina, France, Holland, Puerto
Rico and USA) at this 6-day/5-night dance are:
* Frankie Martinez & Lori Perez - Frankie is one of the hottest and most sought-after
Salsa/Mambo dancer, performer, choreographer and instructor in New York. His teaching
technique, along with a graceful and clean style, has brought him much attention. Lori has
danced internationally with Frankie's company for three years. Before that, she performed with a
dance group in Los Angeles and won the gold medal for best overall performance in the
Olympics for the Performing Arts.
* Paul Pelicoro & Eleny Fotinos - owners and operators of New York City's largest
studio, DanceSport International Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio. Renown for their work in
film - national attention when they trained Academy Award-winner Al Pacino for his sizzling
tango scene in the movie "Scent of a Woman." Paul & Eleny have been dancing together for
more than 10 years and have a long list of credits.
