There is duty free shopping in Denmark. The VAT tax is deducted from purchase price either at
the airport or immediately at the shop if goods are being shipped.
Copenhagen airport is very much a shopping mall. You can buy a car, a mink coat, porcelain, or
crystal; have a shower, work in the lounge with fax and computers, then fly anywhere in the
world.
