Whistler Travel Tip

Whistler's close proximity to the Pacific Ocean keeps temperatures from extreme colds.
Statistically, the coldest months are from December to March when temperatures can reach the
high 20's to the low 30's Fahrenheit.
On a average, snowfalls are heaviest December to March. In 2002, the month of February had a
snow base of 125 inches. However, Whistler is not immune to unpredictable weather. In 2001,
the month of February had 78 inches of snow base.
Ideally, weather in Whistler is warm and sunny in the summer months, with daytime
temperatures in the 70's Fahrenheit, and snowy and sunny in the winter months, with daytime
temperatures in the mid 30's Fahrenheit.
