Getting Married in Vegas
Las Vegas Travel Tip
If you're in a hurry to get married, go to Las Vegas. You don't need a blood test, there is no
waiting period and it only costs $35 for a wedding licence. Opening hours are pretty liberal too.
8 a.m. to midnight Mondays through Thursdays. Doors stay open on weekends from Friday 8
a.m until midnight Sunday. On legal holidays, the office is open 24 hours. The hardest part may
be choosing the right chapel for the ceremony. There are more than 50 scattered around the area.
The simplest option is to be married by a marriage commissioner. And the cheapest. The fee is
$25. Chapel ceremonies are not much higher. Fees begin around $45.
